Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern in Marlborough, MA. You will join a multi-disciplinary IPT with system, hardware and software engineers to design and optimize components for next-generation aerospace products.

You will perform 3D CAD modelling, electronics packaging, and various analyses while supporting production and testing activities. This onsite internship offers hands-on experience and exposure to DoD-level security processes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, NX, AutoCAD, or Fusion 360.

Responsibilities

• Support multi-disciplinary IPT with system, hardware and software engineers.
• Model in 3D CAD and update drawings and documentation.
• Assist with electronics packaging, thermal and structural analyses.
• Contribute to procurement, production support and testing.
• Prepare and maintain component and assembly drawings.
