Quest Defense Systems and Solutions seeks a Mechanical Analysis Engineer to support the development of aircraft engine components with a focus on safety, reliability, and performance. The role is 100% onsite in Cincinnati, OH and requires US citizenship with the ability to obtain or hold a security clearance.

You will perform FEA analyses using ANSYS, work with cross-functional teams, and contribute to design reviews and certification documentation to ensure mission-critical engine components

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (BSME) required.
• Experience in FEA analysis, preferably in aerospace.
• Experience with ANSYS.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and willing to obtain/hold a clearance.

Aufgaben

• Aid in the design of aircraft engine components.
• Assist in the design of engine components that maintain structural integrity and minimize weight.
• Investigate root causes of field failures, propose design improvements.
• Collaborate with aerospace cross-functional teams (aerodynamics, design, manufacturing).
• Use computational tools to generate analysis models.
• Analyze, post-process, and present results clearly.
• Conduct design reviews and create documentation for certification.
