Job summary

Rock West Composites, Inc. in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Test Technician to execute mechanical, chemical, and environmental testing on composite materials and related products.

You will generate test data, maintain documentation, and support calibration and quality programs in collaboration with Engineering and Quality teams. The role requires a Bachelor's in a suitable field and 5+ years in material testing, along with the ability to interpret specs (including aerospace requirements).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience performing mechanical, chemical, or environmental testing of composite materials.
• Experience generating technical reports and documenting test methods and results.

Responsibilities

• Execute mechanical, chemical, and environmental testing of composite materials.
• Generate and document accurate test data and reports.
• Support calibration programs for testing equipment.
• Ensure testing activities meet customer specs and quality requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methods.
