Job summary

Cirrus Aircraft in Minnesota seeks a Materials & Process Technician to execute and develop materials and process testing for aircraft structures and production. You will work with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to deliver accurate data, improve test methodologies, and support certification efforts.

The role requires 5+ years in materials testing or a related lab environment, with NDT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5+ years in materials testing or aerospace lab environment.
• NDT certification UT/VT/ST preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute and develop materials and process test methods per engineering specs.
• Analyze and interpret test data to support design validation and process improvement.
• Generate technical documentation and reports using Excel, MATLAB, or similar tools.
