Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Irvine, CA is seeking a Materials Handler Supervisor to oversee daily material handling, inventory control, receiving, storage, and distribution in an aerospace manufacturing environment.

You will lead a team, drive safety and 6S, coordinate ERP/MRP activities, and collaborate with Production, Planning, Quality, Purchasing, and Supply Chain to meet schedules while upholding OSHA and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
• 3–7 years of materials management, warehouse operations, or logistics in manufacturing environment.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience required.
• Aerospace, defense, or highly regulated manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Costpoint, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead Safety and 6S initiatives and manage audits, record keeping, and training.
• Supervise a team of material handlers, warehouse personnel, and logistics staff to meet targets.
• Coordinate receipt, storage, movement, and distribution of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
• Ensure timely delivery to production lines to support schedules and commitments.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
• Use ERP/MRP systems to manage inventory transactions and material movements.
