Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Supervisor, Materials Management to lead the daily receipt, staging, and issuance of parts for our rocket program. The role will manage an hourly workforce, drive continuous improvement, and ensure AS9100 compliance while delivering exceptional customer service at our Cape Canaveral/launch-site environment.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in materials management or 4+ years with equivalent experience, plus leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of professional experience in materials management, supply chain, or production/manufacturing; or 4+ years of professional experience in materials management, supply chain, or production/manufacturing.
• 1+ years of leadership experience leading teams, projects, or people.
• Experience in aerospace, aviation, or automotive manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage an hourly workforce by assessing employee performance and providing feedback.
• Lead by example and motivate the organization to achieve top results.
• Monitor and improve operations to ensure a safe work environment with zero OSHA recordables.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 and customer flow-down requirements.
• Oversee incoming acceptance, storage, and issuing of parts and hardware.
• Supervise shipping and receiving operations and coordinate movements.
• Drive cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Ensure cycle counting and audit readiness for internal and external audits.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance and preventative measures for service reliability.
• Develop routes and replenishments to meet service levels for internal customers.
