Job summary

GE Aerospace Indianapolis is hiring for a warehouse associate to support component shipping and material handling across manufacturing stages. You'll operate forklifts, perform cycle counts, and ensure accurate records while following safety procedures.

Requirements include 1+ year in warehouse or manufacturing material management, basic data entry into an ERP system, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. We offer shift differentials, benefits from day one, and a path for growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of warehouse and/or manufacturing material management.
• 1+ year of data entry into an ERP system.
• Basic computer skills.
• Previous forklift driving experience or ability to be trained and licensed.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Willingness to stand for long periods.
• Basic math counting skills.

Responsibilities

• Ships components and/or finished products within and outside facility.
• Counts, bags, tags, packs and ships materials.
• Operate Forklifts and pallet jacks to move items safely.
• Validate cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Mentor other employees as required.
• Coordinate logistics and 3rd party transportation.
• Maintain accurate work records and follow safety rules.
