Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science & Engineering or related discipline.
• 0–3 years of engineering experience (internships or undergrad research OK).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and test adhesive bond specimens per procedures and ASTM standards.
• Perform materials characterization and mechanical testing for flight hardware and TPS development.
• Analyze data and prepare technical reports with results and recommendations.
• Generate and maintain engineering docs: specs, test plans, qualification reports, procedures.
• Support material failure investigations and root cause analyses.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams on material selection and qualification.
