Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Materials Characterization Lab Technician in Moorestown, NJ to support next-generation aerospace programs. You will prepare samples, conduct mechanical testing, and operate advanced analytical equipment to document critical test results.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of hands-on lab experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow technical instructions while maintaining safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a materials characterization or mechanical testing lab.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for analysis including sectioning, mounting, grinding, and polishing of metals, composites, and assemblies.
• Operate or support advanced analytical equipment (SEM/EDS/FTIR/thermal analysis) per procedures.
• Conduct mechanical testing on metals and composites per ASTM standards and internal procedures.
• Document observations and compile raw data into technical presentations.
