Job summary

AMI Metals, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to prepare customer orders for shipping and assist production. You will build skids, operate hand and power tools, and ensure accurate packing and labeling according to procedures.

Strong reading and math basics, plus the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work irregular hours, are expected. This role supports safety, quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to read simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to work irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Builds skids or boxes for packing and shipping of all orders.
• Uses crosscut saw, miter saw, nail gun, staple gun and banding equipment as needed.
• Follows AMI packing and preservation policies and procedures.
• Performs quality inspections on orders to maintain 100% quality standards.
• Maintains equipment and keeps records; keeps work area clean.
