Job summary

GE Aerospace Indianapolis site manufactures complex Aerospace components and supports growth with a strong Lean culture. The team handles shipping, material movement, and routine inventory tasks in a climate-controlled environment with safety as a priority.

Role focuses on accurate data entry, cycle counts, and coordination of 3rd party transportation while maintaining records and following procedures for a compliant, efficient operation at GE Aerospace Indianapolis.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of warehouse/material management.
• 1+ year data entry into an ERP system.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Forklift driving experience or ability to be trained and licensed.

Responsibilities

• Ship components and/or finished products within and outside facility.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items safely.
• Validate cycle counts and reconcile discrepant counts.
• Maintain accurate work records and support LEAN initiatives.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with others.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a tidy workstation.
