Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking a manufacturing technician for the Terran R program. You will manufacture Thermal Protection System components and subassemblies, following drawings and procedures to ensure safety and quality.

The role requires hands-on bonding, surface prep, and documentation on a 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM PT schedule, typically a 50-hour week with possible overtime. Your responsibilities include operating tools and MES software, collaborating with engineers and inspectors, and contributing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, 0–1 years of aerospace/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to use hand tools or production equipment in a shop environment.
• Ability to follow drawings, specifications, and established manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture TPS components and subassemblies for the Terran R vehicle, meeting quality, safety, and production requirements.
• Perform adhesive bonding operations including surface prep, adhesive mixing, application, and vacuum bagging.
• Follow engineering drawings and procedures with minimal supervision.
