Boeing-Wichita is offering an entry-level Manufacturing Planner development program that rotates to learn planning processes and how plans support production. The program prepares you to interpret engineering requirements, prepare work instructions, coordinate with teams, and resolve planning issues.

Ideal candidates have basic computer skills, attention to detail, and strong teamwork mindset, with a path toward a permanent manufacturing planning role in a unionized environment.

Formación

• Interest in manufacturing, engineering, or production planning.
• Willingness to learn company planning tools and systems.
• Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accuracy.
• Effective communication and teamwork in a cross-functional setting.
• Organize tasks, manage priorities, and ask clarifying questions.

Responsabilidades

• Rotate through planning groups to learn product and process responsibilities.
• Review engineering drawings and specifications to understand requirements.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing plans and work instructions.
• Sequence work, identify tools/materials, and support production readiness.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams.
• Research and resolve plan discrepancies and process concerns.
• Update planning documents and systems per procedures.
• Participate in training, coaching, and development activities.
• Support continuous improvement focused on safety, quality, and clear instructions.
