Job summary

Mason seeks a Manufacturing Manager to lead our aerospace machine shop operations in Los Angeles, reporting to the VP of Operations. You will direct machinists and supervisors to achieve safety, quality, and on-time delivery while driving cost efficiency.

Essential strengths include Lean manufacturing, strong leadership, and experience with CNC machining and aerospace standards. This role is exempt and located on site.

Qualifications

• Lean manufacturing expertise with demonstrated impact.
• Strong leadership and program management abilities.
• Experience with ISO 9001/AS9100 quality standards.
• Background in CNC machining and aerospace manufacturing.
• Data-driven approach to safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily machine shop operations to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals.
• Coordinate machinists and production staff with effective scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace safety and quality standards.
• Lead process improvements using Lean/Six Sigma methods.
• Analyze production data to optimize performance and resources.
• Collaborate with engineering/design to resolve technical issues.
• Supervise maintenance and mentor shop personnel.
• Manage raw materials inventory and shop budget.
• Conduct audits and supplier coordination for timely materials.
