Job summary

Canopy A&D is seeking a Manufacturing Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for aerospace, defense, and space programs. You will analyze drawings, specs, and BOMs to determine labor, materials, and processing needs, coordinating with PM, Engineering, and Operations.

Role requires 4+ years in machine shop estimating, GD&T knowledge, and ERP familiarity. Base salary ranges from $60,000 to $80,000, with strong benefits and 100% onsite at Cape Canaveral, FL.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to read, interpret, and analyze engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Knowledge of GD&T and technical drawing interpretation.
• Experience estimating and quoting CNC machining operations and other aerospace processes.
• Experience using ERP systems related to manufacturing planning and quoting.

Responsibilities

• Organize and prepare quotes and proposal packages.
• Review RFQs, drawings, and specifications to determine scope and requirements.
• Develop manufacturing plans including processes, tooling, labor, and materials.
• Prepare cost estimates and quotations based on labor rates, materials, and pricing.
• Communicate quotations and project updates to customers and internal teams.
