Job summary

Talent With Heart is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Saint Augustine, FL. This is a 6+ month contract, onsite only, paying $50-65/hr W2. US citizenship is required. Ideal candidates will interpret design requirements for manufacturability and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define build processes.

Responsibilities include creating work instructions, updating BOMs, and maintaining manufacturing documentation. Strong reading of drawings and electrical soldering skills are a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree plus 4+ years in engineering manufacturing environment OR MSc with 3+ years OR PhD with 0 years.
Experience with reading production specs, diagrams and BOMs.
Background in aircraft wire harness, avionics, power distribution or related testing is preferred.

Responsibilities

Review aircraft design requirements for manufacturability and translate into work instructions.
Partner with Design Eng, Production, Tool Design, IE and Quality to define build processes and tooling.
Develop, release and maintain Manufacturing Engineering docs, work instructions and BOMs.
