Job summary

Top Echelon Software LLC seeks a Manufacturing Engineer in Saint Augustine, Florida for a 6+ month contract, onsite only. Pay rate is $50-65/hr W2; US Citizenship is required.

The role focuses on manufacturability reviews, production documentation, and close collaboration with Design and Quality teams. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Engineering (or higher) and experience with 3D CAD tools (NX/CATIA), BOM management, and soldering/cabling expertise applicable to aerospace or similar

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret production specifications, production diagrams, assembly drawings, and technical specifications (English).
• Able to read drawings / wiring diagrams.
• Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Experience with Siemens NX/CATIA CAD tools or applicable 3D CAD systems.
• Experience using SAP and MES or similar systems.
• Demonstrated understanding of root cause / corrective action processes and techniques.
• Experience drafting, maintaining, and modifying work instructions and/or process specifications.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret aircraft design requirements for manufacturability and translate them into clear, executable manufacturing work instructions.
• Partner with Design Engineering, Production, Tool Design Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Quality to define build processes, incorporate drawing changes, and establish tooling requirements for current and new production.
• Develop, release, and maintain Manufacturing Engineering documentation, including work instructions, visual aids, and Bills of Material.
