Job summary

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead development, optimization and scaling of advanced manufacturing processes on the production floor in Bingen, WA. This 100% on-site role reports to the Chief Engineer and focuses on assembly of mechanical, electrical, and UAS systems.

You will design tools, fixtures, jigs, and work spaces; create and maintain work instructions; manage M-BOM and configuration control; and apply 5S to improve quality, efficiency and traceability across

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years related engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Experience writing manufacturing work instructions and defining BOMS.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing processes, procedures, and workflows for assembly of mechanical and electrical aerospace products.
• Provide training to manufacturing staff on new procedures and ensure traceability.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and change management for assigned projects.
