Job summary

HIKINEX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in the Greater Los Angeles Area. This hands-on role is crucial for scaling interceptor and autonomous defense systems into high-rate production. The ideal candidate will possess strong DFMA experience and a track record in automotive or aerospace manufacturing.

You will lead DFMA reviews, perform producibility assessments, and collaborate on building manufacturing capabilities from the ground up.

U.S. citizenship is required for this position along with the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, automotive or high-rate manufacturing environments.
• Strong DFMA and producibility engineering experience.
• Experience transitioning hardware from development to production.

Responsibilities

• Lead DFMA reviews throughout concept development and production readiness phases.
• Perform producibility assessments and process capability evaluations.
• Support manual prototype builds and troubleshooting during ramp activities.
