Job summary

Aeronautics Company in Marietta, GA is seeking a production planning specialist for second/swing shift (4:00 PM EST - 2:00 AM EST). You will develop production planning/work instructions, coordinate with shop floor, and guide planners through engineering revisions and MRB activities.

The role collaborates with design, quality, and supply chain teams to improve process efficiency and system integrations; Bachelor's degree required in a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Leverage model-based engineering tools (PLM/MES) to facilitate creation of Production Planning/Work Instructions for build
• Interface with shop floor personnel to help resolve build issues, including troubleshooting PLM/MES/ERP data flows, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
• Provide guidance to team of hourly/represented planners and oversee creation and release of build documentation
• Provide guidance and oversee all planning modifications related to engineering revisions and MRB activities.
• Support Manufacturing Engineering planning system upgrades, modifications and new system integration
• Work in parallel with design engineering, quality engineering, supply chain organizations, and production operations Basic
