Job summary

The Recruiting Hive is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a Saint Augustine, Florida location. This 6+ month contract features onsite work and pay of $50-65 per hour on a W2 basis. US citizenship is required.

The role focuses on translating design requirements into manufacturable processes and supporting cross-functional teams to define build sequences and tooling needs. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering with 4+ years in manufacturing engineering, with CAD tool

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 4 years in an engineering manufacturing environment or equivalent
Master's in STEM with 3 years of experience or PhD with 0 years of experience
Willingness to work onsite in Saint Augustine, FL and US citizenship is required

Responsibilities

Review and interpret aircraft design requirements for manufacturability and translate them into clear manufacturing work instructions.
Partner with Design Engineering, Production, Tool Design Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Quality to define build processes, incorporate drawing changes, and establish tooling requirements for current and new production.
Develop, release, and maintain Manufacturing Engineering documentation, including work instructions, visual aids, and Bills of Material.
