Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace in Manchester, CT, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to advance manufacturing processes and mentor early-career engineers on-site. You will program, set up, and optimize CNC turning and milling operations, ensuring quality and productivity across programs.

The role requires hands-on leadership on the shop floor and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or 7+ years aerospace experience.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship.
• Experience with ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC turning and milling equipment.
• Develop and refine manufacturing process plans to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Design, document, and optimize CNC programs for quality and cost.
• Lead tooling design and procurement to maximize efficiency.
• Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Mentor junior engineers and support professional growth.
• Maintain compliance with quality systems and safety standards.
