Job summary

Knight Aerospace Products, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II for our San Antonio, TX site. This full-time, on-site role focuses on generating build plans, routings, and BOMs from engineering data to provide executable plans for Production Control and Purchasing.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, 3+ years in manufacturing, and aerospace experience. Proficiency in reading drawings with GD&T and knowledge of CETEC ERP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering; 4-year accredited university.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience creating routings and BOMs.
• Minimum 1 year aerospace manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Create routing/job travelers for each manufacturing operation needed to produce the product.
• Create routing/job travelers in ERP system or Excel from drawings released by Engineering.
• Conduct in-depth review of engineering drawings prior to release.
• BOM Creation: Verify BOM from engineering drawings; Modify BOM as required when revisions are released.
• Forward completed BOM to Production Control for Stock checking.
