Job summary

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company (EBAD) in Graham, Kentucky is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Mechanic to support aerospace missions and space hardware programs. You will contribute to a team responsible for reliability, safety, and on‑time maintenance.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, and plumbing systems; welding and pipe bending; reading drawings and schematics; and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
2–4 years of technical training.
3–5 years of demonstrated work experience.
Ability to read and understand drawings, schematics and instructions.
Communicate effectively (oral and written).
Strong mathematical skills.
Experience with programmable hardware and associated software (Allen–Bradley preferred).
Experience with analogue instrumentation and servo/PC-based motion control systems.
Ability to disassemble/re-assemble parts and rebuild/replace motors, pumps, etc.
Proficient with hand and machine shop tools.
Compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, plumbing, boiler and refrigeration systems.
Perform welding/torch work, pipe bending and fitting.
Make critical maintenance decisions.
Maintain accurate records written and electronically.
