Qualifications

• 7 years of machinist experience required.
• Or Technical degree (A&P) or Bachelor's degree in lieu of 3 years experience.
• Strong understanding of aircraft accessories and machining requirements.
• Proficient with precision measurement instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and specs.
• Attention to detail, time management, and organization.
• Flexibility with changing workloads based on customer requirements.
• Must read, write, and understand English.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual or CNC machines (mills, lathes, hones) to repair parts.
• Interpret engineering drawings, manuals, and specifications.
• Document maintenance and repair work per FAA and company requirements.
• Inspect aviation components to ensure quality standards.
• Use micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges daily.
• Maintain inventory of shop supplies and tooling.
• Stay updated on tool knowledge and safe operation in work areas.
• Collaborate with QA and Engineering to resolve non-conformances.
• Adhere to FAA Part 145 Repair Station standards and safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
