Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company (EBAD) in Simsbury, CT is seeking a Machine Operator II to join a team that builds high-quality linear energetic products from engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions. You will help ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery while working on a flex shift reporting to the Production Supervisor of Linear & Transfer Systems.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Certificate or higher in machining related field preferred.
Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions in English.

Responsibilities

Set up, configure, and operate roll forming mill to produce linear energetic products per drawings and specs.
Operate wire sheath extrusion machines.
Load, reduce, and fabricate linear energetic product per Manufacturing Instructions.
Use machinery and tooling to fabricate parts.
Clean, measure, cut, sample, spool, coil and pack product.
Maintain quality and safety checks on equipment.
Support engineering in developing new manufacturing procedures.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
