Job summary

United Launch Alliance offers a Logistics & Transportation Internship for Summer 2027 in Decatur, AL. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting senior logistics professionals and learning the aerospace supply chain.

Responsibilities include coordinating moves, tracking equipment, and assisting with storage and carrier contracts, while you shadow experienced staff and participate in project work related to ground operations.

Qualifications

• GPA 3.0 overall at time of application
• Must have valid driver's license for Alabama internship locations
• Must be available for full-time for at least 10 weeks in Summer 2027

Responsibilities

• Interpret Master Program Schedule and coordinate with Prod Ops for critical moves
• Use tracking tool to locate and schedule Ground Support Equipment movements
• Coordinate with transportation scheduler to enact internal and external moves
• Support logistics of Solid Rocket Boosters movements into/out of storage
• Assist teams with internal moves, lifts to GSE, and site-to-site moves; manage trucking contracts
