Job summary

Hanwha Aerospace USA in Glastonbury, CT is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to manage daily shipping, receiving, and inventory activities. You will supervise the department's daily work, prioritize tasks, and support safe and accurate operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating inbound/outbound shipments, inventory counts, verifying bills of lading, preparing shipments, selecting carriers, maintaining logs, and responding to inquiries.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by the U.S. Government and able to work without restrictions with ITAR related data.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D required
• 5+ years of experience in shipping and receiving, aerospace preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments with operations and planning.
• Provide inventory management support: part numbers, balances, cycle counts and reports.
• Verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Prepare shipments for conveyance; select economical shipping methods and containers.
• Maintain and update shipping and delivery logs; respond to inquiries.
