  • Ability to use CAD software preferred.

Position Title: Aerospace Lead Quality Inspector

Team: Quality

Reports to: Director of Quality

This facility coupled with our work forces expertise, allows Visioneering to provide its customers with the most advanced manufacturing methods to ensure unsurpassed quality, on time delivery and customer satisfaction.

Under the supervision of the department director, quality inspectors are primarily responsible for ensuring that the materials, parts, and products used meet specific safety and performance standards. Tasks include but are not limited to; inspecting and testing materials, parts, products; identifying and documenting defects or malfunctions, ensuring compliance with industry and government standards; and reporting findings to management.

Essential Functions:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Daily roles include collaborating in a team-oriented environment with cross functional workers.

  • Assessment of customer contractual requirements as they relate to final QA deliverable
  • Development of inspection plans
  • Communication of inspection line-up to inspection personnel
  • In process validation of all quality requirements of assigned jobs.
  • Control non-conforming product in accordance with documented procedures
  • Support program management team as necessary for quality issues during manufacturing and after tool shipment.
  • Indirect supervision of tool build progress as it related to meeting quality requirements
  • Development and submittal of all final deliverable inspection documentation to customer
  • Perform buyoff activities as required by customer for final tool shipment approval.
  • Maintenance of E-filing system of quality documents.
  • Follow and maintain all safety protocols and housekeeping requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Type/Expected Work Hours:

This is a non-exempt full-time position. Work is scheduled for overtime each week.
