Job summary

Parker Aerospace, Exotic Metals Forming Division, is seeking a Lab Technician (Aerospace) to perform testing and inspection on sheet metal aircraft components to ensure compliance with quality and engineering specs.

The role supports manufacturing, quality assurance, and engineering by preparing test samples, operating lab equipment, recording results, and ensuring documentation accuracy. Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety and regulatory standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Perform a wide range of testing and inspection activities on sheet metal aircraft components to meet quality and engineering specs.
• Conduct material property, dimensional, and durability tests as required.
• Maintain accurate test records and follow procedures and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform tensile, bend, hardness tests and metallographic analysis.
• Monitor periodic process control testing and sample submission for evaluation.
• Record findings and prepare results for review by customers and engineering.
• Maintain lab equipment and ensure clean, organized test areas.
• Support safety, quality, and regulatory compliance throughout test activities.
