Job summary

Pathway Group in Seal Beach, CA is seeking Lab Technicians to support product testing from development to quality inspections. You will operate mechanical testing machines, perform routine tests on prepregs, adhesives, plastics and other materials, and assist with data collection.

You will collaborate with Engineering Unit Members on approved flammability testing, such as Multipurpose Bunsen Burner Testing, FAA/NBS Smoke Density Testing, and FAA/OSU Heat Release Testing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; technical degree or trade certification preferred.
• Experience: none required.
• Fluent in English (written, oral and presentation) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, conduct and monitor mechanical testing, including data acquisition systems.
• Maintain test equipment and fixtures in good working order.
• Read and understand test plans.
• Follow internal test facility manual, procedures, work instructions, etc.
• Maintain and manage internal testing schedule.
• Coordinate with engineers.
• Monitor and document test results.
