Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Laboratory Quality Assurance Technician for the Kennedy Space Center campus in Merritt Island, FL. This 2nd shift, full-time role supports the LASSO II contract and focuses on quality assurance, inspection of hardware, and test verifications on ground and launch processing components.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years in QA or inspection, preferably in aerospace.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide quality assurance support to CRCA project and monitor operations.
• Witness processes on flight hardware, perform tests and inspections, and report out-of-spec conditions.
• Verify cleanliness, testing, and documentation; ensure adherence to procedures and verifications.
• Perform analyses with analytical instrumentation and maintain records.
