Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Information Technology Intern/Co-op in Phoenix to gain hands-on exposure across IT and digital transformation initiatives. You’ll work with mentors, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to projects that improve productivity and decision-making.

Must be a US citizen, with a current pursuit of a related bachelor’s degree and an interest in technology, automation, and data.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Interest in technology, digital transformation, automation, data, or business process improvement.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team with mentors, peers, and stakeholders.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to meaningful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Support real‑world IT and digital transformation projects aligned with business priorities.
• Collaborate with IT teams, business partners, and stakeholders to understand needs and deliver solutions.
• Assist with process mapping, documentation, project tracking, testing, data review, and communications materials.
• Contribute to innovation projects, prototypes, automation, analytics, dashboards, or other solution‑enablement activities.
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements.
• Participate in project meetings, learning sessions, and mentorships.
• Support change management, adoption, and training for processes and tools.
• Learn how enterprise systems, data, apps, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and processes connect across Honeywell Aerospace.
• Apply basic security and data governance practices in project/test environments.
• Build professional skills in communication, collaboration, problem solving, and stakeholder engagement.
