Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Management Support at the Aerojet Rocketdyne Segment’s Orange, VA site.

This role focuses on routing and packing material for shipment, cycle counts, and maintaining documentation for receipts and shipments. The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent with several years of inventory control experience or an Associate’s degree with related experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant Inventory Control/Material Handling experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years prior related experience.
• Experience in aerospace environment is preferred.
• Experience with Oracle (Inventory Control) or other inventory software is desired.

Responsibilities

• Process receipts, issues, returns to stock, and other material moves with accurate records.
• Safely load, transport, deliver, unload, and store hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Verify packing lists, resolve discrepancies, coordinate with Purchasing, and maintain records.
• Deliver packages to manufacturing or storage areas and monitor material conditions.
• Perform routine vehicle and equipment maintenance and safety checks.
• Carry out cycle counts and assist in other logistics areas as needed.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license.
