Job summary

Northwood Space in Torrance, CA seeks an Inventory Specialist to manage materials, hardware, and components for our manufacturing facility, ensuring seamless flow through the supply chain. You will work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and operations to maintain accuracy in our ERP system and support ongoing replenishment and continuous improvement initiatives.

This role requires 5+ years of inventory experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to stand 4–6 hours and lift

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of inventory control or warehouse experience.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, email, and ERP/MRP software.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and store raw materials, parts, and hardware to support manufacturing and R&D operations.
  • Pick, organize, and stage components to keep production running efficiently and ensure build accuracy.
  • Verify incoming materials for conformity, quantity, part numbers, and damage-free condition.
  • Maintain strict material handling and traceability practices.
  • Monitor shelf-life storage and perform stock rotations to ensure part integrity.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical and system inventories.
  • Record all inventory movements and transactions in our ERP system with attention to detail.
  • Support inventory replenishment and continuous improvement initiatives within the Supply Chain team.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with safety standards.
