Job summary

K2 Space is building the largest and highest‑power satellites, and we’re seeking a Materials Handler & Inventory Specialist to stand up receiving, inventory, and kitting for avionics hardware as production scales.

You will work with Supply Chain and Engineering to ensure items are tracked, accessible, and properly serialized for both in-house and external processing. The role requires 2+ years in inventory and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of receiving, shipping, and/or inventory management experience with electrical components.
• Experience with and understanding of inventory and kitting processes.
• Experience within the aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic fields.
• Familiarity with ERP/MES systems for tracking inventory and inspection results.
• Familiarity with barcode scanners and label systems.
• Knowledge of ESD handling procedures and ITAR compliance requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform kitting operations for internal customers and external suppliers.
• Perform cycle counts and reconcile incorrect system records with actual physical inventory.
• Update inventory systems and ensure traceability of serialized or lot-controlled items in ERP.
• Ensure safe and secure handling of sensitive or high-value aerospace components.
• Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand carts.
• Support shipping operations by organizing pickups, packaging, and loading.
