Job summary

Joseph Michaels International is seeking an Aerospace Design Engineering Specialist focused on interconnect products. Location can be Camarillo, CA or City of Industry, CA, with onsite operations and relocation assistance available.

You will provide technical oversight for EWIS components used in aerospace, industrial and military applications, including connectors, backshells and conduit assemblies, advising management and external partners on design and technology decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Science, or related engineering field.
• Minimum of five years of product engineering experience in interconnect product development, analysis and test.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight to teams in the design/analysis/test of EWIS components used in aerospace, industrial and military applications.
• Focus on electrical connectors, backshells, conduits and cable assemblies; advisory to management, customers and suppliers.
