Boeing Co. in Berkeley, Missouri, seeks an Associate Test & Evaluation Lab Technician to join a team performing lab and flight production electrical tests.

You will fabricate and maintain instrumentation, install sensors, and wire harnesses per engineering requirements, using strain gauges, accelerometers, thermocouples, RTDs, and other sensors. Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, coordinating with engineers, wiring, soldering, routing, and ensuring safe hazardous-material handling.

Formación

• Associate’s degree or higher, a technical certificate or degree, or 2 or more years of equivalent technical experience.
• Experience fabricating, installing, routing, terminating, soldering, and repairing electrical wiring harnesses; or any variety of electrical components, and associated equipment.
• Experience interpreting electrical engineering drawings, schematics, and definition.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, conduct and document tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies.
• Design, fabricate, build and analyze test systems, materials, components, software and methodologies.
• Coordinate test requirements, determine test methods and capabilities.
• Coordinate system integration, fabrication, modification, setup, checkout and teardown for system tests.
• Conduct tests, analyze data and document results; participate in test readiness reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve laboratory and test-related problems.
• Coordinate test laboratory activities and maintenance and repairs.
• Work under general direction.
