Job summary

Space Exploration Company in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Level 3 Indirect Buyer contractor to manage end-to-end procurement of indirect materials and services. Focus areas include COTS products, ET/IT hardware, and aerospace-related goods, requiring strong negotiation and supplier management in a fast-paced aerospace setting.

The role requires 5 years of procurement experience, a bachelor’s degree, and proficiency with SAP, Oracle, or Coupa. Onsite work with ASAP start for a 6-month contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of procurement/purchasing experience, preferably indirect buying.
• Experience procuring COTS products and IT/technology hardware.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end procurement for indirect categories including COTS, ET/IT hardware, and aerospace materials/services.
• Process requisitions and convert to purchase orders per policy.
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery and service.
• Issue RFQs/RFPs and conduct competitive bid analyses.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and documentation.
