Job summary

RIMEPRO INC is seeking a qualified Hydroform Machine Operator to join our aerospace manufacturing team in California. The role focuses on operating hydroforming equipment to produce precision sheet metal components for aerospace applications, while interpreting blueprints, inspecting parts, and maintaining quality standards.

The ideal candidate will read drawings, adjust forming parameters, and collaborate with engineering and QA personnel to ensure on-spec production and continuous process

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in hydroforming, sheet metal forming, or precision metal fabrication preferred.
• Previous experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing strongly preferred.
• Experience setting up and operating hydroform presses or similar hydraulic forming equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret aerospace blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of sheet metal forming techniques, material properties, and tooling applications.
• Familiarity with aerospace materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, Inconel, and titanium.
• Experience using precision measuring tools and performing dimensional inspections.
• Understanding of manufacturing tolerances, quality control procedures, and production documentation.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot machine or production issues.
• Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and commitment to producing high-quality components.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor hydroforming machines to manufacture precision aerospace sheet metal components.
• Perform hydroforming operations using hydraulic pressure to form aerospace materials.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, work instructions, and specifications.
• Select, install, and align forming dies, tooling, and fixtures.
• Adjust machine settings to achieve required part dimensions and tolerances.
• Inspect finished components for dimensional accuracy and defects.
• Use precision measuring instruments and conduct first-piece inspections.
• Identify and troubleshoot forming defects, tooling issues, and equipment malfunctions.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Document production activities and inspection results per procedures.
