Job summary

RTX Corporation seeks a motivated Project Engineer for the Hot Section Engineering (HSE) Geared Turbo Fan (GTF) team. The Project Engineer will support task planning and execution to ensure the Integrated Product Team (IPT) achieves goals for the CIPT lifecycle, from validation testing to engineering changes and field support.

Qualified candidates need to be technically proficient, communicate effectively, and be customer focused to meet the aggressive demands of the GTF engine programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 2 years of relevant engineering experience or advanced degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets with IPT.
• Support schedule management, risk management, and execution of program requirements.
• Track project progress and report status to CIPT and management.
• Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, validation, and other functions for alignment.
• Manage hardware and validation activities for the IPT and plan validation/testing.
