Job summary

Acro Service Corporation seeks a manufacturing assembler to support all production operations. You will collaborate with engineers on setup, calibration and on-line adjustments for honeycomb panels, and assist in quality testing of parts and assemblies.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, 2+ years in aerospace fabrication, and the ability to read drawings and use hand tools. The role requires safety awareness and flexibility to meet delivery dates in a on-site environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years' previous honeycomb panel fabrication or aerospace mechanical assembly experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude to read and interpret drawings.
• Experience with hand tools and good math/geometry skills.
• Candidate must be able to read and follow written manufacturing instructions and technical procedures.
• Operate equipment such as hand tools and power machinery for processing metals, composites and wood.
• Able to work while on cure cart platens as well as above on diving boards briefly.
• Must work closely with lead technicians and supervisor to meet build requirements and schedules.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Demonstrates high level of concern for safety of self and others.
• Willing to work flexible schedules to meet delivery dates.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing operations and collaborate with engineers on setup and calibration tasks.
• Conduct rework and quality testing for parts, components and assemblies.
• Use sophisticated programs to collect operating data and make online adjustments.
• Assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
• Work with engineers in conducting experiments.
