Job summary

GeoLogics is seeking an Electrical Hardware Design Engineer to work on a long-term contract in Bloomington, MN. The role involves responsibilities across all program phases, from requirements analysis to supporting manufacturing and test. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and at least 8 years of relevant experience. Preferred skills include expertise in the Siemens/Mentor Graphics Xpedition tool suite and advanced circuit design capabilities. US Citizenship and residency are required for this position.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience or 6 years with a Master's degree.
  • Understanding the hardware development process throughout a program lifecycle.
  • Ability to persevere through design challenges with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

  • Involved in all program phases including requirements analysis and schematic capture.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop systems.
  • Support Airborne Systems business area developing mission computers.

Skills

Designing electrical hardware using the Siemens/Mentor Graphics Xpedition tool suite
High-speed and high-density circuit card design
Advanced working knowledge of lab equipment

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
