Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) seeks an engineer to join the Foreign Technology Group at Arnold AFB, TN. You will independently analyze ground test facilities, prepare reports, and brief senior leadership while traveling to meet customers as needed.

The role requires a BS in mechanical or aerospace engineering, 5 years of experience, and the ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance. U.S. citizenship is required; salary ranges from $90,500 to $124,500 per year.

Qualifications

• BS degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering from an accredited school with 5 years of experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance and access to the AEDC local area network.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to Air Force security requirements at AEDC.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and assess aerospace ground test techniques and technologies by developing engineering calculations, diagrams, and technical reports.
• Apply knowledge of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, heat transfer to solve engineering problems.
• Pursue facility enhancements and technologies that extend capability, reliability, and availability.
• Synthesize information across intelligence disciplines to produce baseline capabilities and predictive threat assessments.
• Produce intelligence products and briefings for customers, leadership, and policymakers.
