Job summary

Zenix Aerospace in San Diego, CA is hiring a Furnace Calibration Technician for 1st shift. You will maintain and calibrate furnaces and heat-treat equipment to customer specs, ensuring safe operation and high production availability.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, wiring/instrumentation, routine preventive maintenance, documenting work, and coordinating with production schedules. A high school diploma and 3–5 years in heat treat are required; aerospace manufacturing preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent education and experience.
• 3–5 years of heat treat experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Manufacturing industry experience, specifically machine shop experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate furnaces and heat treating processes to customer specifications.
• Operate both gas and electric furnaces and perform maintenance to required specifications.
• Diagnose and resolve operational problems using manuals and manufacturer specs.
• Record maintenance and repair work and update documentation.
