Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Flight Test Electrical Design Engineer to support the Flight Test team across F-16 and F-22 lines. You will design, install, and release electrical designs for flight-test equipment and data systems, and help with airworthiness documentation and aircraft checkout.

The role requires reading schematics, producing drawings, coordinating with suppliers and teams, and assisting in lab procedures and testing at CONUS and OCONUS sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience using CATIA V5, SolidWorks, or comparable CAD software for design and modeling.
• Strong communication and people skills with the ability to work in an engineering and technician team environment.
• Experience with reading and interpreting electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Development, installation oversight, and validation of electrical designs.
• Coordination with suppliers, internal and external integrated product teams, management, and the customer.
• Technical engineering support for installation and testing at CONUS and OCONUS locations.
• Engineering liaison for flight test and instrumentation modification activities.
• Produce and read engineering drawings, schematics and technical procedures
• Develop troubleshooting plans and discrepancy resolution.
