Job summary

The Finisher/Deburrer at Heico will perform finishing operations on aluminum chassis and cold plates for aerospace/defense applications. This role reports to the Manufacturing Manager and requires meticulous attention to quality and safety in a fast-paced production setting.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, experience with pneumatic tools (e.g., Dynabrade), and the ability to read drawings and use basic measuring equipment. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Autobody finishing experience is a plus.
• Familiar with non-electric hand tools.
• Experience finishing aluminum using pneumatic tooling.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read internal drawings and use basic measuring equipment.
• Fine attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Strive towards a culture of proactive safety.
• Perform final finish operation using pneumatic tooling to produce consistent finish on aluminum chassis and cold plates.
• 100% inspect work pieces for cosmetic appearance and obvious non-conformities.
• Install hardware components per specifications or manager direction.
• Follow Job Travelers for routing steps and log time and piece counts in ERP.
• Maintain traceability of parts and work orders through finishing.
• Keep work areas clean and safe; perform other duties as assigned.
