Job summary

Aalyria is seeking a Field Engineer to install, configure, troubleshoot, and integrate Tightbeam and Spacetime SATCOM systems at customer sites worldwide. You will deploy, align terminals, perform field testing, and ensure mission success in real‑world conditions.

This role blends electronics, software, optics, RF, and cabling across terrestrial, airborne, and satellite deployments, with travel up to 50% and hybrid remote/in‑office schedules.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for field deployments (up to 50%).
• Comfort with mechanical hardware and assemblies.
• Familiarity with RF and optical communications fundamentals.
• Willingness to learn optical fiber termination and handling.

Responsibilities

• Deploy to customer sites and set up Tightbeam and Spacetime/SATCOM systems.
• Lead site surveys, installation, alignment, and commissioning for various platforms.
• Perform mechanical assembly and integration across hardware.
• Configure SATCOM terminals and integrate into customer networks.
