Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. seeks a Deployed Engineer to deliver and integrate Apex software-enabled products at customer sites. You will act as the primary software interface for customers, ensuring tool adoption, software compatibility, and rapid issue resolution in high-stakes environments.

You will travel to labs and field sites, work closely with internal engineers, and shape the deployment processes as the function matures, enabling scalable customer success across our product portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong software engineering background with experience building, debugging, integrating, or supporting software-enabled technical products.
• Experience troubleshooting complex technical systems in lab, integration, production, field, or customer environments.
• Ability to support software compatibility across flight software, ground software, test tools, and customer integration environments.
• Experience with Linux, Python, C/C++, networking, test automation, APIs, or similar technical tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical software interface for customers, providing day-to-day support across Apex vehicles and customer integration environments.
• Support flight software and ground software compatibility, helping customers bring Apex-provided tools online.
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams to resolve software and system-level issues.
• Travel to customer sites as needed and work hands-on in lab or integration environments.
• Help define deployed engineering practices, processes, and escalation paths as the role scales.
