Job summary

Parker Aerospace, a division of Parker Hannifin Corporation, seeks an Aerospace/Mechanical Engineer skilled in solid mechanics and FEA to support fuel nozzles, pumps, valves, and thermal systems for gas turbine engines. You will perform structural and thermal FEA, optimize designs, and support certification, working with internal and external teams.

Ideal candidates have MS/ME with FEA focus or a PhD in related fields, 5+ years of engineering analysis experience, and familiarity with MATLAB,

Qualifications

• MS/ME with a focus on FEA; 5 years' experience in FEA or PhD in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering with FEA focus.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering analysis and FEA experience including graduate research.
• Desirable: experience with AI/ML in engineering analysis for design optimization.

Responsibilities

• Perform static, dynamic, thermal, modal, and fatigue analyses using FEA tools.
• Present analysis results and supervise validation tests and technical reports.
• Contribute to R&D projects on materials and new technologies.
• Lead adoption of ML/AI tools for design exploration and process automation.
• Collaborate in a team to improve product performance and cost.
